1. Previous experience or basic knowledge of desktop computer hardware and software  as well as peripheral devices (printers, scanners, projection devices, interactive

       whiteboards,etc.) is required.
    2. Strong customer service skills; able to work under pressure.
    3. Ability to work independently.
    4. Excellent written and interpersonal skills.


REPORTS TO:            Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, and Director of Technology


JOB GOAL:                To provide and utilize technology to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of instructional and operational programs in meeting the district’s goals.



  1. Installs and performs repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
  2. Help in the evaluation and purchase of software and equipment related to technology. Implementing current successful uses of technology in the classroom
  3. Work effectively and cooperatively with all district personnel to achieve the district goals.
  4. Perform other tasks as directed by the superintendent.
  5. Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Board of Education or Superintendent of Schools.
  6. Ability to relate to a diverse workforce.
  7. Able to lift, carry, or pull up to 50 pounds.
  8. Mobility to move in and around buildings.
  9. Ability and willingness to learn and support new technology.


TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year to be established by the Board of Education.


EVALUATION:  Performance on this job will be evaluated in accordance with the provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
