Position Summary:
The Bus Aide assists the bus driver in safely transporting students to and from school and school-related activities.

Position Details:

• Part-Time: 3 hours per day
• Pay: $16.75 per hour

Essential Duties:

• Help students safely get on and off the bus.
• Monitor students during the bus ride and maintain a safe, orderly environment.
• Assist students who may need extra help or support.
• Follow school and transportation safety rules.
• Communicate with the bus driver and school staff regarding student needs or concerns.
• Help ensure students remain seated and follow bus rules.
• Report any safety, behavior, or student concerns to the appropriate staff.

• Enjoys working with children and students.
• Patient, dependable, and responsible.
• Able to communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Able to follow safety procedures and directions.
• Previous experience working with children is helpful but not required.
