Reports To:  Building Principal and Head Custodian

Education and Experience: 

• Minimum of High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Custodial or maintenance experience preferred

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes and vaccums hallways, classrooms, storage areas, restrooms, stairs and office space
• Prepares building for night activities and works cooperatively with those who use school facilities
• Empties trash and garbage containers
• Maintains building security
• Maintains confidentiality of information gained through the performance and location of the position
• Other duties as assigned
