Reports To:  Building Principal

Education and Experience: 

• Minimum of 60 College Hours or complete training through DESE
• Must have, or be eligible for, Missouri Substitute Certification or a Missouri Teaching Certificate 
• Experience working with children or youth, preferred
• Coursework in education, preferred

Essential Job Functions: 

• Provides for student instruction in the absence of the regular teacher
• Maintains student discipline through active engagement and supervision
• Maintains confidentiality at all times 
• Other duties, as assigned
