QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Previous experience or basic knowledge of desktop computer hardware and software as well as peripheral devices (printers, scanners, projection devices, interactive
whiteboards,etc.) is required. 2. Strong customer service skills; able to work under pressure. 3. Ability to work independently. 4. Excellent written and interpersonal skills.
REPORTS TO: Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, and Director of Technology
JOB GOAL: To provide and utilize technology to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of instructional and operational programs in meeting the district’s goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installs and performs repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment.
- Help in the evaluation and purchase of software and equipment related to technology. Implementing current successful uses of technology in the classroom
- Work effectively and cooperatively with all district personnel to achieve the district goals.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the superintendent.
- Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Board of Education or Superintendent of Schools.
- Ability to relate to a diverse workforce.
- Able to lift, carry, or pull up to 50 pounds.
- Mobility to move in and around buildings.
- Ability and willingness to learn and support new technology.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Salary and work year to be established by the Board of Education.
